Cast

Mark Nassar (Banzai/Playwright)
Mark is one of the original creators of the Off-Broadway hits Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding (also originating the role of Tony) and Birdy’s Bachelorette Party, and founder of the Downtown Theatre Club. He has appeared in several Off-Broadway productions, among them: It’s a Great Day; Late-Night Comic; The Street in the Kid; Date With Destiny; See Me Now; Goodbye Greg; and Aspirins and Elephants directed by Jim Dale at the American Stage Company. Mark’s TV credits include Coach, Family Matters, Room for Romance, Monsters, and a principal role in the James Brooks pilot Related by Birth. Film credits include First Kid, directed by David Mickey Evans; Just Desserts, directed by Don LeFrance; Faithful, written by Chaz Palmienteri and directed by Paul Mazursky; Deception, Savior of the City, and Tom Luvs Maeve 4-ever, directed by Wendy Cohen. Among his awards, Mark has received a Drama Logue Award for his performance of Banzai, and an LA Weekly Nomination for Best New Play for the Los Angeles production of The Mayor’s Limo. Mark is a graduate of Hofstra University.

Santo Fazio (Director)
As a member of New York's prestigious Actor's Studio for 15 years, Santo has acted in and directed numerous Off-Broadway productions, including Hatful of Rain, directed by Frank Corsaro at the Actor's Studio. Recent television credits include guest leads on Law & Order, Third Watch, Law & Order Criminal Intent, a recurring role in Peter Berg’s Wonderland, and The Sopranos’ current season. His film credits include The Funeral, directed by Abel Ferrara, and Night Falls on Manhattan, directed by Sidney Lumet. Santo also directed the previous production of The Mayor’s Limo.

Kevin Alexander (Captain Gould)
Kevin’s recent credits include playing Dr. Steven Weiss, the plastic surgeon on the Howard Stern Show; Potsie Weber on ED; and Detective Bell on Law & Order. Kevin worked alongside Mark Nassar and Nancy Cassaro in creating Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. He is a graduate of the William Esper Studio.

Sharon Angela (Martel, the Hooker)
Sharon has been playing the role of Rosalie Aprile since season one of The Sopranos. Her movie credits include Analyze That, Two Family House, and On the Run.

Patrick Michael Buckley (Det. D’Amico)
Patrick has been working in New York theatre for almost ten years. His most recent credits include Charlie in LADY/SPEAK/EASY at La MaMa, and Tic in Tony DiMurro’s Waiting for My Man. He received critical acclaim for the role of Slants in the earlier DiMurro work Moe Green Gets It in the Eye. He has been featured on Law & Order and can be seen in the upcoming feature film LBS. Patrick is proud to have taken part in the development of The Mayor’s Limo in New York.

James J. Hendricks (Det. Kopac)
James has appeared in many NY productions over the past 20 years, most recently as Father Marc in Tony n' Tina's Wedding. He is probably best known for his work as Commander USA on the USA Network, and for his commercial work for Nobody Beats the Wiz.

Michael Perri (Gilly)
Michael has recently been seen as Wood the Shot Boy in Birdy’s Bachelorette Party, and in Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. He appears in many commercials, including Pam Cooking Spray, Finishline Sports, ESPN, and Goodyear Tires. Film credits include Welcome to the Family (at New Jersey’s first film festival), the Back East Picture Show, and Beach House, which premiered at the Long Island Film Festival. Michael also performs as a stand-up comic in several NYC clubs.

Robert Stevens (Det. Gleason)
Robert’s recent film credits include Jean-Luc Monthias’ Bobby G. Can’t Swim, Tim Clark’s Nightfall (at the Dances With Films Fest in Santa Monica), and Justin Landstrom’s No Providence (at the Festival Internacional de Cinema de Troia in Setabal, Portugal). He recently directed The Head Hunter, a play by Mark Barkowski. Robert has been a member of the Actor’s Studio since 1992.

Rebecca Weitman (Ann Marie Libresca)
Rebecca has performed Off-Broadway and in regional theatres throughout New England. She studied acting with Penny Allen and the late Ed Moore, and has a Masters of Science from Columbia University’s School of Social Work.

James Wormworth (Sammy Brown)
James made his acting debut in the previous production of The Mayor’s Limo. He is a professional drummer, currently performing nightly on the Conan O’Brien Show.


Crew

Del Cheetah (Stage Manager)
This is Del Cheetah’s first excursion into theatre. He has designed and produced stage shows for bands for the past 8 years, and now works primarily in editing and cinematography. The Cheetah is currently in pre-production for his first feature film, shooting in 2003.

Tom Hooper (Set Design)
Tom designed DTC's successful Birdy's Bachelorette Party and Johnny Boy's Graduation. His recent credits include Broadway '68 (directed by Scott Wittman at La Mama), The Frank Loesser Review, About Time, and The Ballad of June Cool (with Laura Kenyon, directed by Thommie Walsh), and several Off-Broadway shows. He has also designed at the American Repertory Theatre, BAM, the Denver Center, the Folger Theatre, Arena Stage, Baltimore Center Stage, and the Alliance Theatre. His murals can be viewed in the United States and abroad, and at www.muralismo.com. Mr. Hooper is a staff artist for ABC/Disney.

Rocio Matosas (Wardrobe & Lighting)
Rocio graduated from the Uruguay Republic University Art School, and from Margarita Xirgu Drama School. She has been a part of the La Tea Theatre since 2000, and also designs for IATI Theatre. Rocio has participated in many plays and art shows (sculpting and painting) in NYC, and has over 10 years experience designing for theatre. About her latest work as a set designer with Spanish Repertory Theatre in Happily Mad (Locos de Contento), D.J.R. Bruckner for The New York Times wrote: “…the collapse of Rocio Matosas’ set is a fine spectacle…”

Rich Robinson (Original Score)
Mr. Robinson is best known as a founding member, guitarist, and songwriter for The Black Crowes. In the span of a decade, his work with The Crowes has yielded two platinum albums, two gold albums, and sales of over 15 million records worldwide. He has collaborated with artists such as Jimmy Page and Mick Jagger. Rich has scored films for New Line Cinema, and produces music for various artists. He recently embarked on a new project, with plans to perform this fall in New York.

Steve Domber (Producer)
Steve Domber owns Prudential Serls Real Estate Company in Poughkeepsie, New York. He met Mr. Nassar after attending Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, and signed up with the Downtown Theatre Club. He brought fifty of his employees to see a showcase of The Mayor’s Limo. After receiving tremendous feedback, he approached Mr. Nassar about taking the show to the next level. Mr. Domber also produced another DTC production, Birdy’s Bachelorette Party, which has been running successfully since May.

Joe Corcoran (Producer)
In 1988, Joe and his brother Dan produced the original New York company of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. Since first opening, Tony n’ Tina’s has played in over 100 cities around the world, including Las Vegas and Japan. In 1999, Joe co-founded the online magazine and marketing company, TheaterMania.com. With over 100,000 registered members, TheatreMania.com has since become a formidable force in the development of new audiences, both on Broadway and regionally, throughout the United States.
